The primary responsibility of this role is to perform various tasks related to localization of content available in the Amazon Prime Video catalog, under general supervision. This is a permanent contract.

Key job responsibilities
The day to day job requires the individual to make judgment-based decisions by following a standard operating procedure. This will involve tasks such as:

1. Work with audio and text to train and improve the AI model.
2. Understand phonetics and linguistics to ensure accurate pronunciation.
3. Attention to details.
4. Provide inputs to update Prime Video's style guides to continue to raise the bar on customer experience.
5. Ensure that all localized content maintains its original meaning and tone.one

A day in the life
In a day to day the team performs dubbing which involves verifying audio transcriptions between English and Spanish languages.

This team specifically works with titles within the Prime Video Catalog that are slated for AI dubbing. Their meticulous work in transcription and verification serves as the essential foundation for the AI dubbing process.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Degree and/or proven work experience in Linguistics, Translation, English, or a related field.
- Excellent command of English and Spanish languages.
- Experience with translation and localization platforms.
- Strong understanding on localization concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to details and ability to work in a fast-paced without compromising the quality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in localizing dubbing in English and Spanish languages.
- Familiarity with dubbing and software tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse team environment.
- Knowledge of different dialects and accents in English and Spanish.
