DESCRIPTION

This position serves as the primary regulatory compliance and implementation specialist for LATAM operations, with a critical focus on analyzing and managing statutory deployments and modifications across the region. The role centers on comprehensive evaluation of regulatory changes, particularly the upcoming Brazil Tax Reform (launching Jan'26) which will be the main focus during the upcoming months/years, requiring thorough analysis of new requirements and their seamless integration into operational processes. The position holder will proactively identify regulatory challenges, collaborate with FinOps verticals, and implement solutions that maintain both compliance and operational efficiency.

About the team
Compliance Team strive to promote an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct and adherence to compliance regulations within government requirements. Additionally, we look to reinforce preventive controls and eliminate deficiencies in our processes which are key to support our external and internal stakeholders government compliance needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- English language verbal and written advanced skills
- Proven experience working on LATAM tax legislation
- Track record of exceptional interpersonal skills - including experience driving complex communications plans
- Excel professional proficiency: pivot tables, data presentation, formulas, conditionals, et

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Portuguese language verbal and written advanced skills
