We are looking for a Network Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and ensure the stability, efficiency, and resilience of our global network infrastructure.

As a key member of our team, you will work at the intersection of networking and software engineering, implementing automation, monitoring, and reliability best practices to minimize downtime and optimize network performance. Su función y responsabilidades

- Incident Management & Escalations - Handle and resolve escalations from teams and monitoring tools, managing service-affecting network issues and coordinating response efforts during critical incidents.

- Network Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution - Diagnose, isolate, and correct network problems, including routing protocols, firewalls, VPNs, BGP, load balancing, and hardware failures.

- Network Maintenance & Upgrades - Plan, schedule, and implement network maintenance, including software upgrades, hardware replacements, and infrastructure changes.

- Security & Compliance - Implement and maintain network security best practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust. Manage access controls, encryption, and segmentation strategies. Monitor security logs and respond to incidents using SIEM tools. Ensure compliance with frameworks like NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.

- Vendor & Provider Coordination - Collaborate with network infrastructure providers and hardware vendors to identify and address service disruptions and device failures.

- Documentation & Performance Optimization - Create network connectivity diagrams and documentation, analyze network performance, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency.

- Effective Communication & Customer Service - Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Diploma de secundaria / GED

Licenciatura

Experiencia profesional y técnica requerida

Working knowledge of the following network protocols/technologies:

- BGP, MPLS, OSPF and related protocols.
- Working knowledge of Cloud environments: IBM, Azure, AWS, or Google.
- Experience with direct connect and direct link implementations.
- Other skills:

- High Availability Technologies: HSRP, VRRP, VPC.
- Scripting Languages: Python, Perl, Bash, or Go.
- Operating Systems: Linux, BSD, Ubuntu, Window.
- Advanced Configuration of Fortigate, Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, or Vyatta devices.
- Knowledge in containerized networking solutions: Docker, Kubernetes, or Calico.
- Strong troubleshooting experience.

Experiencia técnica y profesional preferida

- Knowledge of networking concepts with relevant vendor certifications (JNCIP, CCNP).

- Knowledge of security concepts with relevant vendor certifications (NSE 5, NSE 6, CCNP Security, JNCIP-SEC)

- Web Application Firewall (WAF) knowledge.
